The Competency Dictionary of school executives

The Competency Dictionary presents four main development axes around which are articulated ten competencies required to be a school executive. To help better understand how the competencies interact with one another, the Dictionary describes them as behaviour indicators grouped together according to five types of abilities (modalities of action).

The Dictionary is a tool meant to help school executives evaluate their professional competencies to allow them to identify their developmental needs. To each conference and workshop presented in this program, we have added the competencies and abilities that can be developed.

This Dictionary is an additional way to support and structure the professional development of our members, and make it easier to select workshops.
